CLARA FEINGOLD With great sorrow, the family announces the passing of Clara Feingold on Wednesday, May 12, 2004, at the age of 94 years. She was recently predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Jack and leaves behind her daughters, Bobbie (Barry) Gunn and Janet (Brian) Fleishman; granddaughters, Lisa Gunn, Robyn (Ted) Szilagy, Melissa (Ian) Cobb and Jennifer Fleishman; great-grandchildren, Tracy, Jordyn and Alexis; her sister Brina Nuss; her brother-in-law Julie (Miriam) Finegold; and many nieces and nephews. After retiring from a successful business in Boston, Jack and Clara moved to Winnipeg to be near their children. She was a loving mother and grandmother, whose first and frequently only concern was family. Her greatest concern however, was for her companion Jack, and we can only assume that she decided it was time to reunite with him. Claras funeral was held at Shaarey Zedek Cemetery on Sunday, May 16, officiated by Cantor Anibal Mass. Pallbearers were Brian Fleishman, Allan Shinfield, Abe Nuss, Arthur Migie, Arthur Waldman and Bernie Adelman. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the caring staff of the Misericordia Health Centre Personal Care Unit, with a special thanks to Claras companion Betty. Donations in Claras memory may be made to the MHC or to the charity of your choice.
